Creation of the “Mauritian style”

Beachcomber has created the “Mauritian style”. Each hotel has developed its own personality while keeping in mind the group’s philosophy of promoting Mauritian values and lifestyle. This approach guarantees a genuine experience to travellers looking for authenticity. It is also the reason why Beachcomber is proud to define itself as a “group of hotels” instead of a chain of hotels.

A tradition of excellence

Beachcomber’s strong points are superb service, legendary hospitality and an extensive range of free sports and leisure in its hotels. In keeping with Beachcomber’s policy of maintaining the highest standards, the company’s 4000 employees regularly attend drills and courses organised by the Beachcomber Training Academy.

Beachcomber’s specifics

The best sites in Mauritius and Seychelles

Each hotel prides itself on a spectacular site: prime beachfront locations in Mauritius, and one private island in the Seychelles, in the heart of a protected Marine Park.

A fantastic culinary choice

Gourmet dining has become the signature of Beachcomber Hotels. Some hotels, like Royal Palm, Sainte Anne Resort & Spa, Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa and Paradis Hotel & Golf Club feature some of the best restaurants in the Indian Ocean region.

A unique range of land and water sports

Beachcomber resorts were the first to implement free water and land sports in Mauritius. Clients have a varied choice of activities.

At Shandrani Resort & Spa, the first fully “All-Inclusive” 5-star resort in Mauritius, golf on the 9-hole course and diving for certified divers are free of charge. These unique facilities complement the extensive range of free land and water sports available at the resort.

Shandrani Resort & Spa also caters for the most demanding guests with exclusive services available at extra cost: a certified IKO-certified kitesurf school, a sailing club and Beachcomber Sport & Nature, a unique ecotourism programme.
Beachcomber also owns two golf courses: an international 18-hole Par 72 at the Paradis Hotel & Golf Club and a 9-hole Par 29 “Pitch and Putt” at Shandrani Resort & Spa.
Guests of Paradis and Dinarobin can also play at preferential conditions at the Golf du Château in Bel-Ombreand at Tamarina Golf Estate & Beach Club.

Exclusive packages

In keeping with its philosophy of self-improvement, Beachcomber continuously develops new products and packages.
The latest innovative concept “Serenity plus” makes Shandrani Resort & Spa the first fully “All-Inclusive” 5-star resort in Mauritius.

Three other Beachcomber hotels offer optional “All-Inclusive” packages:

· Le Mauricia with the “All- in-One” (interchangeable at Le Canonnier)
· Le Canonnier with the “All- in-One” (interchangeable at Le Mauricia)
· Le Victoria with “Serenity”, a prestige “All-Inclusive” package

Spas and Wellness Centres

Beachcomber redefines the Spa concept with a whole new philosophy towards well-being. Partnerships with international health and beauty brands have enabled the creation of unique Spas with different atmospheres to invigorate the body and lift the mind.

Groups & Incentives

Beachcomber also offers a wide range of accommodation for groups, with tailor-made options to match all needs and budgets. Each Beachcomber hotel has a sophisticated infrastructure capable of handling groups of any size with the highest standards of service and efficiency.

Tailor-made programmes

Weddings & Honeymoons

With nine hotels to choose from, honeymooners and romance-seekers will find just the perfect hideaway to get away from it all. Beautiful venues and professional service combined with special offers and personalised gifts ensure they receive the star treatment on their big day and during their honeymoon. Beachcomber Hotels also guarantees that only one wedding a day takes place at a Beachcomber resort.

Families

Each of our hotels has a choice of rooms, Family Apartments or Suites, Duplexes and Villas to accommodate families. Kids will definitely take advantage of our fantastic Bob Marlin mini-clubs where programmes of activities have been specially designed to make sure they have plenty of fun. Nature and sports lovers can choose from the selection of land and water sports and play on our two beautiful golf courses.

Catalyst of development

Promoting the Mauritian identity

Beachcomber Hotels is proud to be a Mauritian company and is committed to promote the culture and essence of the island.
Beachcomber Hotels encourages sustainable tourism development by:

· Protecting and improving the natural environment
· Giving back something to the community
· Preserving and promoting the authenticity of Mauritius

Caring for the community

Beachcomber is committed to the development of Mauritius and the welfare of its locals.
Beachcomber Sport & Nature, an exclusive eco-tourism programme departing from Shandrani Resort & Spa, operates with the collaboration of the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation, which looks after the preservation of the native flora and fauna.
In 1998, the group created the “Fondation Espoir et Développement” (Foundation for Hope and Development), to fund and support social projects in Mauritius.
With the launching of Sainte Anne Resort & Spa in 2002, Beachcomber has exported its expertise to Seychelles. In line with its policy of sustainable development, the company has created a Hotel Management School in Mahé, the capital of the Seychelles.
