From Royal Palm Mauritius to Sainte Anne Island in the Seychelles, all Beachcomber hotels are steeped in a festive and joyous atmosphere, which will culminate in truly memorable Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Below is a glimpse of the various activities offered by each of our hotels in the Indian Ocean:
As is the tradition every year and as from 20 December, Royal Palm – which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary – will be decked out in lights and decorations centred on the theme of nature. The festive programme includes stylish aperitifs by the pool, followed by a dinner under the stars on Christmas Eve. A glittering dance party will enliven New Year’s Eve and guests will be offered a luxurious well-being experience for a great start to 2016. In addition to the traditional visit by Santa Claus, the kids will get together for a distribution of gifts during the holiday season.
The atmosphere will be both sporty and festive at Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa. Mountain biking, glass bottom boat outings and a group golf lesson, among others, are sure to stimulate the appetites of foodies, who will enjoy a sumptuous buffet at the Mahogany Bar, or even a special Christmas menu at Saveur des Iles Restaurant. The New Year’s Eve buffet at L’Harmonie Restaurant promises to be equally sumptuous.
The festive season’s activities at Paradis Hotel & Golf Club include a Christmas Elves’ Buffet, a gala menu and a DJ Christmas Party. Decorated in red, white and silver, the hotel will be dressed in typical Christmas colours as from 24 December. The following day, a Christmas Fair will enliven the atmosphere at La Ravanne Restaurant, while guests will be treated to an unforgettable lobster evening at Blue Marlin Restaurant on 28 December. After a Tropical White Party on 29 December, the Swinging Twenties will be back with borsalino hats, sequins and feathers for a Great Gatsby New Year’s Eve party.
The team at Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa has created a host of marine-themed treats for the holiday season. Children will be at the core of the celebrations with a special spa menu and access to the sports centre under supervision of a parent every day from 8.30a.m. to noon. Guests will enjoy a variety of seasonal fruit around the main pool throughout the festive season from 24 December.
At Shandrani Resort & Spa, the children will be able to take part in crab and lollipop hunts, a magic show and a mini disco, while the grown-ups will enjoy unplugged music, a jazz quartet performance, a White Party and a DJ dance party. A terrific entertainment programme will combine with gourmet delights for an awe-inspiring festive season.
Le Victoria Hotel will spoil guests with plenty of joyous evening entertainment, including a variety of shows throughout the holiday season until the New Year 2016. Le Canonnier Hotel will join in with a host of activities ranging from the magical world of Fantasia to a special New Year’s Day Hangover Breakfast. At Le Mauricia Hotel, special decorations will be placed in the lobby and common areas. An extensive programme of activities will also keep the children and teenagers entertained.
Sainte Anne Island in the Seychelles will also be wrapped in a festive mood during the holiday season. The festive programme includes special buffets and menus, seafood platters and canapés every day, as well as a multitude of activities and entertainment for all ages.
And it goes without saying that the traditional fireworks displays in all our hotels will add some extra sparkle to the festivities!
