The invest hotel scheme

An investment complete with a number of perks

This property scheme has been introduced in 2010 by the Government of Mauritius to enable foreigners to lawfully invest in a rental property in a hotel on the island.
Such a purchase comes with a number of perks for owners. They will enjoy the following for the entire duration of the lease with the hotel:

Rental income

The 27 villas available under this scheme at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber will form part of a rental pool. The income generated from the rental of all the villas will be pooled by the hotel. Rental income will be distributed every six months to villa owners under conditions laid down by New Mauritius Hotels Ltd.

30 nights per year in the villa

Each owner and two nominees of his/her choice may stay free of charge in the villa on a half board basis for a total of 30 nights per year. They may also use up to 10 of their 30 nights at another Beachcomber Group property of their choice.

Beachcomber IHS membership

Each owner and two nominees of his/her choice will be entitled to a Beachcomber IHS Membership Card. They will enjoy 20% off the Mauritian resident rate in all Beachcomber hotels (excluding Royal Palm Beachcomber) and a 20% discount on their bar, restaurant and spa bills throughout any stay.

No maintenance costs

Each villa will be fully managed and maintained by NMH, with all operational expenses covered, including co-ownership management and renovation, repair and replacement of furniture and equipment.
