Le départ de la 5e édition de l’Ultra Trail Raidlight Beachcomber (UTRB) sera donné le 28 juillet prochain. À quelques jours de ce rendez-vous sportif tant attendu, le Shandrani Beachcomber s’apprête à accueillir à nouveau les adeptes du sport et de la nature. En effet l’hôtel sera le village des courses de la compétition.
Plus qu’une course, l’UTRB est un trek de découverte du pays dans toute sa splendeur, avec ses montagnes, ses plages, ses champs, ses forêts et ses savanes. Encadré par le parc marin de Blue Bay et la réserve naturelle de l’Ile aux Aigrettes, le Shandrani Beachcomber est tout désigné pour accueillir cette belle manifestation sportive.
Tout sera mis en œuvre à l’hôtel afin de faire vivre aux trailers et à leurs familles une véritable expérience 5 étoiles : un accueil chaleureux, des ravitaillements exceptionnels réalisés par les brigades motivées et une attention constante aux détails.
Les artisans du Shandrani Beachcomber affichent quant à eux leur enthousiasme. « Nous attendons cette année près de 1500 participants, soit un plus grand nombre de trailers comparativement aux éditions précédentes. Nos équipes seront présentes pour assurer le bon déroulement de l’évènement tant au niveau du service, que de l’assistance pendant la compétition ou encore de l’ambiance au village des jeux. », assure Raphaël Nicolas, Guest Relations Manager au Shandrani Beachcomber.
D’ailleurs, une panoplie de surprises attend les trailers pour cette nouvelle édition qui se veut tout aussi spectaculaire que les précédentes. « Dans la soirée du samedi 28 juillet, un super BBQ mitonné par le chef Gerard Payendee et sa brigade aura lieu sur la plage. Tous les participants et leurs familles sont invités. », Laurent Nativel, animateur à l’Ile de la Reunion, fera le déplacement pour assurer une folle ambiance lors de cette soirée mais aussi durant tout le week-end au village des jeux. » poursuit Raphaël.
« Au-delà du bonheur de pouvoir partager leur passion, l’UTRB permet aux participants de découvrir l’île Maurice autrement et par la même occasion, de combiner un beau sport aux prestations 5-étoiles assurées par nos équipes. », soutient pour sa part Arianne Devienne Bellepeau, Leisure & Events Manager de Beachcomber.
