After a few months’ renovation, the hotel radiates with renewed splendour. Core aspects of operations were involved, including the Rooms, golf course and restaurant. As a promising new season unfolds, this transformation is a confirmation of the status of Paradis Beachcomber as a favourite with families.
Generosity is the key to this renovation. A new signature has been introduced for the Suites and Rooms through a playful combination of volumes, with the same levels of comfort and flexibility to suit the expectations of all families. The golf course has been modernised and the restaurants have been enhanced to keep up with the times, with a friendly atmosphere and a wealth of dining experiences.
Thorough renovation
At least 120 Tropical Rooms and 8 Senior Beachfront Suites have been refurbished at Paradis Beachcomber during the renovation, which demanded utmost attention over the past few months.
Following on from the recent refurbishment of 54 Tropical Beachfront Suites, the interiors of these Rooms and Suites have been completely redesigned to provide guests with modern comforts and contemporary conveniences.
Tropical elegance in Paradis style
The outcome is a distinct sense of freshness and elegance. The newly refurbished Suites and Rooms are beautifully finished, with a cosy layout, noble materials, warm fabrics and soft hues enhanced by tropical patterns. The volumes and materials blend harmoniously, with a perfect combination of colours and light
The enhancement of these Rooms has enabled the hotel to define its own idea of tropical elegance: a lifestyle that is geared towards the outside, while surrendering to the generous comfort of soft interiors. The Senior Suites will be open to guests from 15 November.
Accommodation for all types of families
Each family has its own definition of a great holiday and Paradis Beachcomber offers a range of accommodation options to suit all preferences. There is something for families looking for comfort and peacefulness, as well as for those in search of fun and adventure, with a choice of cosy connecting Rooms enveloped by tropical gardens, elegant Suites with ocean-facing terraces and sophisticated Villas set on the beach.
A unique atmosphere
With Le Morne Brabant Mountain as a backdrop, lush landscapes and holes running along the turquoise blue waters of the lagoon, the Paradis Golf Club’s 18-hole par 72 course offers a spectacular setting that enthusiasts of this demanding sport will rediscover as from 21 October.
While experienced players can attempt to tackle the challenging bunkers and greens lulled by gentle trade winds blowing from the ocean, the Golf Academy is available for beginner training and for players who want to improve their putting technique or practice their swing. And of course, everyone can meet up at the Clubhouse to replay the game over an aperitif or a sandwich!
Sustainability at the heart of the course’s upgrading
During the temporary break in activity caused by the renovation, Paradis Golf Club upgraded its irrigation infrastructure. A new system based on a novel electrical technology uses more than 800 sprinklers installed throughout the course to improve irrigation control and decrease the amount of water wasted on the peninsula. Each sprinkler is individually managed digitally to achieve maximum watering efficiency.
This project is part of a large-scale effort by the Beachcomber Group to better preserve water, a vital resource that is becoming increasingly scarce. This includes limiting water evaporation, storing surplus water and composting over 90% of its green waste for moisture retention. Through the new irrigation system, the Paradis Beachcomber golf course and gardens will be watered solely with recycled water.
These upgrades confirm Paradis Golf Club’s status as a must-play course in the region!

A pioneering commitment in Mauritius that pays off
Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels has decided to take up the challenge of promoting sustainable hospitality. The Group has a long-standing involvement in establishing more environmentally and community-friendly practices, with convictions that drive its development.
Beachcomber’s hard work has paid off this year with Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa and the Group’s Head Office, Beachcomber House achieving the prestigious EarthCheck Gold Certification. Recognised worldwide, the EarthCheck environmental and social benchmarking programme uses almost 260 criteria to assess environmental, community and cultural inclusion through annual independent audits.
Gold certification is one of EarthCheck’s highest levels of recognition. It marks the seamless progress of a process that began in 2015, as well as acknowledgement of the Group’s endeavours and performance on sustainable development issues. EarthCheck's CEO, Stewart Moore commended Beachcomber for its commitment and leadership. “This certification highlights the strong involvement, passion and commitment of the Group’s management. None of this could have been possible without the mobilisation and efforts of their teams,” he said.
Beachcomber is the first hotel group in Mauritius to achieve EarthCheck Gold status. This distinction has encouraged the Group to go even further in its environmental approach.
