A festive anniversary dinner
Because an anniversary deserves a meaningful date in the calendar, Dinarobin Beachcomber has set 21 December as the official date of its 25th anniversary. It is a fitting choice, bringing together the magic of a milestone birthday with the sparkle that accompanies the start of the festive season.
In Mauritius, the end of the year is associated with the fiery beauty of flowering flamboyant trees, seaside holidays and a lightness of spirit.
That is exactly the mood that will shape the special dinner on 21 December at L’Harmonie restaurant, where hotel guests and a range of invited attendees will come together to celebrate this important occasion. A surprise menu is being created especially for the evening, showcasing the creativity of the peninsula’s chefs.
The theme will be One Thousand and One Nights — a nod to the hotel’s name, Dinarobin, inspired by the island’s earliest known name, Dina Arobi. Given by Arab navigators in the 15th century when they landed on this then-unknown shore, it evokes prosperity and abundance. The promise is of an evening that will be both magical and memorable.
Each year, TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards recognise hotels around the world for their exceptional quality and service. In 2026, Dinarobin Beachcomber had the distinction of being the only hotel in Mauritius to be included among the world’s finest in the Best of the Best 2026 ranking, where it placed 19th. From 29 June, guests will be welcomed on arrival with a new signature cocktail: Silver Horizon. Conceived as a tribute to the hotel’s ocean outlook, this alcohol-free blend of lemongrass and ginger infusion, pineapple juice, honey and lemon juice has been specially created to embody 25 years of emotion. Bright and refreshing, with citrus notes softened by the generosity of the honey, it sets the tone for a stay at Dinarobin Beachcomber.
