The Mauritian chef, Adegeen Chinapiel has been at the helm of the kitchens at Mauricia Beachcomber for the past seven years.
He started his career with Beachcomber Hotels 14 years ago and demonstrated dedication and enthusiasm in the kitchen from day one.
Starting out as a cook he moved on swiftly to the role of sous-chef and chef. Adegeen Chinapiel then achieved his ultimate goal to expertly fill in the role of Executive Chef.
Throughout the years, Adegeen Chinapiel's motivation has pushed him to constantly enrich his skills through international competitions and courses. As a dynamic team leader for Mauricia Beachcomber at the internationally recognised Black Box Competition, he was awarded a bronze medal.
This young and enthusiastic Executive Chef is particularly influenced by Oriental and Hispanic cuisine and "loves to create new dishes using fresh, local products".
Adegeen Chinapiel's experience at Mauricia Beachcomber added to his love for innovative cuisine, ensures a choice of original dishes in the two restaurants of the hotel.
